“I started working part-time at IKEA Costa Mesa Bistro/Swedish Food Market 8 years ago while working on my Astrophysics degree at UCI. I find managing at IKEA much more fun and exciting than my original career plan and I enjoy the freedom to make my own decisions while steering the business.”
Our sustainability efforts impress me the most At IKEA. Even in food, we support organic farming and have higher animal welfare standards. My favorite is the LÖRDAGSGODIS candy. I keep a container at home and eat it in the restaurant whenever I work.
I recently achieved my goal of becoming IKEA Food Manager and could possibly move into Business Navigation and Operations in the future!
