Warehouse Team Leader
I started with IKEA in 1997 working through High School and College in Food Service and working my way up to Loss Prevention and later into Risk Management. Once I completed college I had the opportunity to add Management roles in Cash Office, Recovery, After Sales, Sales and Logistics to my resume.
I met my husband working at IKEA and we have 4 beautiful children. After our 4th child circumstances at home changed and early morning hours worked best for my home life. IKEA was very supportive of the decision stepped into another role that better suited my family schedule.
I am currently the Warehouse Team Leader and love that I can use my previous knowledge and experience in sales to help steer logistics in the right direction.
I enjoy the early hours so I can maintain my work, life balance. I love seeing the store fill with product and ready for the doors to open. It is our team's goal to be 100% ready for the customer every day prior to store opening.
